1. Who can list
1.1Owners and authorised persons. You may list a property only if you are its owner or are legally authorised by the owner, for example as an agent, a power-of-attorney holder, or the builder or promoter of your own project. We may ask for proof of ownership or authority.
1.2Agents and builders. If you are an agent, broker or builder, say so. Where the law requires registration, such as under RERA for projects and agents, show your valid registration number in the listing.
1.3Your own details. Use your own accurate name and contact details. Do not list in someone else's name, or create duplicate or fake listings to mislead.
2. Make it accurate
2.1True details. Price, area, type, location, floor, facing, age, amenities, availability and ownership must be true and not misleading. Say clearly if the price is negotiable and if the property is mortgaged, rented, in dispute or under construction.
2.2Your photos. Use real photos of the actual property that you have the right to use. Do not use stock images, another property's photos, misleading edits, or watermarks and contact details of other websites.
2.3Keep it current. Update or remove your listing as soon as the property is sold, let, withdrawn or no longer accurate. We may remove listings that look out of date.
2.4Honest pricing. Do not post a misleading price only to attract enquiries, and do not ask for more than the listed price without saying so.
3. What is not allowed
3.1Property you cannot list. Property you do not own or are not authorised to list; property known to be in serious dispute and not disclosed; government or public land and encroachments presented as private; property whose sale or letting is legally restricted; and property for any illegal use.
3.2Misleading content. False, fake, duplicate or deceptive listings; bait-and-switch; made-up RERA or approval numbers; impersonating an owner, agent, builder, company or authority.
3.3Discrimination. Content that discriminates against or demeans people on grounds of religion, caste, community, gender, marital status, region, disability or similar grounds.
3.4Unlawful or harmful content. Content that belongs to someone else without permission, is obscene, abusive, defamatory, harmful to children, hateful, invades privacy, infringes another's rights, threatens the unity, integrity, security or public order of India, contains malware, or is otherwise illegal, as set out in the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
3.5Spam and misuse. Spam, repeated posting, keyword stuffing, links to other sites, unrelated advertisements, collecting others' personal data, or using contact details for anything other than the enquiry.
3.6Requirements. Requirements must be genuine needs. Do not post a requirement to advertise, to ask for commission or to collect contact details.
4. How we review and enforce
4.1Review. Listings and requirements are reviewed before or soon after publication for completeness and obvious problems. This is not verification of title, ownership or documents.
4.2Action we may take. We may ask for more information, edit for format, reject, hide or remove content, mark it as disputed, restrict features, or suspend or permanently remove accounts, with or without notice, especially for repeat or serious breaches.
4.3Telling you why. Where we remove or disable content we will usually tell you why through your account or email, unless the law or a safety concern prevents it.
4.4Disputed property. If a court order, legal notice, authority direction or credible complaint shows that a property is disputed or a listing is unlawful, we may hide it until the matter is resolved.
4.5Working with authorities. We cooperate with lawful requests from courts and government agencies, including by sharing information about the poster where the law requires.
5. Reporting a problem
5.1Report it. Use the report option on a listing or review, or write to our Grievance Officer through the Grievance Redressal page. Tell us which listing, what is wrong and, if you can, give evidence.
5.2What happens next. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. Content that exposes a person's private areas or is sexual in nature is removed within 24 hours of a valid complaint.
5.3Appeals. If we remove your content and you think we were wrong, tell us through the Grievance Redressal page and we will review the decision.
6. Your responsibility
6.1Liability. You are solely responsible for your listings and requirements and for any claim, loss or legal action that arises from them. See the Terms of Service for your responsibility and indemnity.
6.2Yearly reminder. We will remind you of this policy and the Terms at least once a year, and when they change.
